TRIREME consortium meets in Milan to turn results into impact
The TRIREME consortium met in Milan on 7–8 October 2026, hosted by The Adecco Group Italia. Partners reviewed progress, exchanged lessons learned and focused on how the project’s results can be used, recognised and sustained beyond its lifetime as TRIREME enters its final phase.
Day 1: Progress and positive feedback
The first day opened with a project status update covering the Work Packages, key achievements, KPIs and the outcomes of the mid-term review. Partners agreed that growing participation in upskilling and reskilling is only part of the picture. Lasting impact also depends on training and skills solutions being adopted and recognised at European, national, regional and local levels. The discussion also covered the future of the Pact for Skills and closer cooperation across the Automotive Skills Alliance.
Further sessions addressed the Sectoral Skills Strategy, including skills cards and job roles and their use after the project ends, as well as the Skills Hub, curricula development, micro-credentials, pilots, social impact activities and continuous skills intelligence gathering.
A highlight was the feedback from EACEA, which congratulated the consortium on its achievements, praised its dissemination materials and engagement with other European initiatives, and encouraged partners to explore further applications of the results, including at regional level.

Day 2: From dissemination to impact
The second day began with the Regional Roll-out session, focusing on the Regional Skills Partnership, stakeholder contacts and the sharing of best practices. In the workshop “From Dissemination to Impact: Turning TRIREME Results into Stakeholder Action”, partners worked in groups to identify priority stakeholders, relevant results and access points, and to define concrete actions that encourage uptake. The meeting closed with administrative matters and next steps for the partnership.
