ElectroCat is a flagship competition in Catalonia where teams of vocational education students — specifically from mid and higher-level training cycles in the transport and vehicle maintenance field — come together from public, private, and state-subsidised schools to design and build their own electric vehicles.
The competition goes beyond technical skills, fostering creativity and innovation while giving students invaluable hands-on experience that prepares them to lead the shift toward cleaner, more efficient mobility. It is also a holistic project, assessing both cross-disciplinary competencies and the specialised skills expected at each educational level.
