ECS Summer School
The ECS Summer School 2026, organised by the European Chips Skills Academy, is a free, week-long intensive programme taking place from 23–28 August 2026 at the University of Bologna’s residential centre in Bertinoro, Italy. Aimed at undergraduate STEM students from EU and associated countries who are mid-way through their studies, it offers a deep dive into the world of microelectronics — covering semiconductor technology, integrated circuit design, embedded intelligence, and system integration through lectures, hands-on activities, and demonstrations led by experts from leading universities, research institutes, and industry partners. The week also features career testimonies from young engineers and concludes with a debate on the geopolitical landscape of the European chips sector. Accommodation and meals are provided free of charge.
