Hydrogen VET Forum 2025: Teachers’ Course on Hydrogen in Mobility

From 8 to 10 May 2025, the Automotive Skills Alliance (ASA) contributed to successfully delivering the Hydrogen VET Forum 2025 at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps circuit, Belgium, during the FIA World Endurance Championship. The event brought together vocational education and training (VET) teachers for a hands-on course focused on hydrogen in mobility.

Participants learned about hydrogen technology, including fuel cells, hydrogen combustion engines, and safety protocols. They engaged with colleagues, industry experts, and racing teams working on hydrogen-powered vehicles. The programme also featured live demonstrations of hydrogen prototypes during the championship.

Teachers who completed both the online and physical modules received a digital badge, marking their certified participation. This training was organized by an alliance of partners: Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), FIA World Endurance Championship, MissionH24, and Green Skills for H2, in collaboration with Hydrogen Europe, Hydrogen Europe Research, and the Automotive Skills Alliance. The event was also supported by TRIREME (an Erasmus+ Blueprint project) and FLAMENCO (an Erasmus+ Forward-looking initiative).
