Cross-Sectoral Working Group

Bringing together Europe's automotive, aerospace & defence, and digital ecosystems to shape the future of skills, workforce development and lifelong learning.

The COMPLEMENTS Cross-Sectoral Working Group is an open European stakeholder forum established under the Pact for Skills. It provides a collaborative platform where representatives from industry, education and training providers, research organisations, public authorities, social partners and sector associations work together to strengthen Europe's skills ecosystem.

By joining the Working Group, members contribute to the development of innovative methodologies, policy recommendations and cross-sectoral approaches that support Europe's competitiveness, resilience and green and digital transitions.

About the COMPLEMENTS Project

COMPLEMENTS is an Erasmus+ Forward-Looking Project supporting the Pact for Skills. The project promotes collaboration between the aerospace & defence, automotive & mobility, and digital ecosystems to build a shared European approach to skills intelligence, workforce development and lifelong learning, with a particular focus on the evolving Security and Defence domain.

Through sustainable governance, shared skills intelligence, interoperable training, and recognised micro-credentials, COMPLEMENTS helps organisations prepare for emerging technologies and future workforce needs. The project serves as a pilot model for cross-sector collaboration that can later be replicated across other strategic industrial ecosystems throughout Europe.
