In the last week of October, partners of the TRIREME project gathered in Madrid for two intensive days of collaboration, reflection, and planning — hosted by Deusto University and SERNAUTO, with support from the Advantere School of Management.
Led by Jakub Stolfa (ASA), the meeting opened with a full project overview and updates on progress across all work packages — from skills intelligence and job role mapping to training offer development, regional rollout, and policy recommendations.
Discussions focused on:
-Advancing the Automotive Competence Matrix and strengthening the Sectoral Skills Strategy;
-Integrating insights from the DRIVES project into national training pathways;
-Aligning training offers and regional actions to better respond to evolving industry needs;
-Reinforcing social dialogue and policy recommendations to ensure an inclusive transition.
Day 2 focused on dissemination and sustainability, with partners presenting their outreach activities and next steps to maximise impact — underlining TRIREME’s alignment with the EU Pact for Skills.
The meeting had a clear message: Collaboration, skills intelligence, and action are key to building Europe’s future-ready automotive workforce.
A warm thank you to all partners for their active participation — and to our hosts in Madrid for the warm welcome and inspiring discussions!
