European projects – PASS and FLAMENCO – enhance collaboration on skills in the automotive-mobility ecosystem

PASS project lays groundwork for activities through Study on Key Competences State of the Art

How can key competences be effectively assessed and supported in order to facilitate the development of employable skills in the automotive sector? That is the focus of the project PASS, kicked-off in November 2022. The project now continues with a recent Study on Key Competences State of the Art, outlining a typology of various key skills gaining traction in the labour market. It further specifies the key competences expected to be relevant specifically in the automotive and mobility ecosystem. In doing so, it lays the foundation for upcoming project activities, including international workshops and the training of key competence assessors. Stakeholders will soon be able to express their views on expected key competences in the future through a survey, disseminated by the ASA.

PASS is a collaboration between the ASA, Newton University, VSB-TUO, STU and SPIN360. Further information can be found on the project website: https://project-key-competence.eu The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

FLAMENCO project aims to enhance collaboration in the Automotive-Mobility Ecosystem

Forward-Looking Approaches for Green Mobility Ecosystem Network Collaboration (FLAMENCO) project kicked off in Ostrava, on February 21-22, 2023.

The project’s goal is to analyse and pilot forward-looking approaches and methods to enable and make sustainable collaboration on skills intelligence in the Pact for Skills Partnerships, specifically in the Automotive-Mobility Ecosystem. The results of the project will support the work of WG3 Skills Intelligence and its sub-working groups in the ASA.

Partners in the project – ASA (BE), ACEA (BE), APTE (RO), EDUCAM (BE), EuroSPI (AT), ISCN (AT), ITC (RO), Olife (CZ), Transilvania IT Cluster (RO), TUG (AT), VSB-TUO (CZ) who is also the coordinator of the project   – discussed efficient ways to join efforts to lead the project activities during the coming 24 months and agreed on the framework to support their initiatives throughout this journey.
